Found my Identity through a Lynx and Deer

I've always loved nature and animals. I even spent my junior year of high school at an environmental school.

I felt a personal connection with Lynx's because they are solitary creatures. They don't run in a pack, and only really hang out with their babies. I felt a personal connection to the way they live as I've never really belonged to any pack growing up! Yes I would have friends however found we always went our separate ways after awhile. Because of this I felt very alone most of the time.

Lynx's also have a spiritual meaning, in that they are perceptive and great listeners both of which I identified with.

I also chose a deer in my Tattoo because of the duality of predator and prey. Deer are also very gentle creatures, kind and known to be motherly. Again I related to this as I always felt motherly towards people I cared about and having a great desire to want to care for them.

The flowers in my Tattoo also have strong meanings. Queen Anne's Lace means sanctuary, Thistles mean endurance and served as a "forget me not" in old Scotland. Anemones are my favourite flowers and Wild Roses are beautiful (and have lots of different meanings).

This tattoo was really a catalyst in my journey to identify myself !
