I have a tattoo on my thigh that is an Ann Stokes design. Ann Stokes was a favourite designer of my son.
It is a ‘remembrance’ tattoo and is called Lost Soul. My son took his life in 2014 at the age of 28. I believe Dan was a lost soul.
Sadly, suicide is more common than people realise and is the biggest killer of young men under 30.
My son Dan was just lost. He was addicted to computer games and that became his life. He was going to join the Army but, when the time came, he could not go.
Unfortunately, we never realised he had mental health issues. We looked at the situation as Daniel just being Daniel.
